A commonly asked question (like every day) in the chocolate shop is “do you still eat chocolate?” Well, the short answer is – hell yeah! The long answer is that it began many years ago in my mother’s kitchen… When I was about 7, I had made cookies enough with my mom that I had the chocolate chip cookie recipe down by heart. Now, I love cookies, and all things dessert, but my secret indulgence came when it was time to put the chocolate chips into the cookies, about 2/3 went into the cookies and the other 1/3 into my mouth. I would savor every sweet little morsel and have been savoring every chocolate morsel I could find ever since those days in my mom’s kitchen. I consider myself a true chocoholic, I don’t discriminate between dark and milk (white chocolate will be another blog post), if there is chocolate I will eat it 😊
