At Animas Chocolate Company, we offer a chance to be a part of our unique chocolate café or chocolate kitchen in beautiful downtown Durango. We are a chocolate company based on adventure, starting along the Animas River, which runs through Durango, and reaching to wherever you can take chocolate!

Our downtown Durango café offers a haven for locals and tourists that are seeking amazing chocolate, coffee, cocktails (paired with chocolate of course!), silly jokes, and a little place where quality, sophistication and mountain friendliness intersect. That’s what we do here at Animas Chocolate & Coffee Co., and that’s what we want you to be a part of.

Seasonal Chocolate Café Staff

• Position: Seasonal Chocolate Café Staff — Part-Time & Full-Time Available

• Location: Downtown Durango, Colorado
• Season: Week before Thanksgiving through early January
• Ideal Start: Mid-November

Are you a dynamic individual looking for a fun, fast-paced seasonal opportunity in a small mountain community? Animas Chocolate Company is gearing up for our busiest, most magical stretch of the year — the holidays — and we want you behind the counter with us.

As seasonal café staff, you’ll help us deliver a decade-strong tradition of unforgettable holiday experiences — from cozy weekday afternoons to our full-tilt daily hours during the week of Christmas.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Genuine interest in chocolate, coffee, and alcohol/chocolate pairings — you’ll help guests discover and choose the perfect pairing to take home
• Warm, outgoing customer service skills
• Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail during our busiest weeks
• Strong availability across the holiday season, including:
  • The week before Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day
  • Extended daily hours December 16–24 (including a shorter Christmas Eve shift)
  • Weekends and key holiday dates
• Ability to start mid-November preferred
